4 – Point Tile Happiness Check
Before you start the fun part of transforming your room, please do the 4 – point happiness check:
- Make sure that the shade of tile is precisely what you wanted. Open all the boxes and compare a sample from each for consistency.
- Check the consistency in size. A ceramic tile is a natural product, so some batches may vary slightly.
- Check the quality and finish of the tiles, ensuring that there are no defects.
- Lastly, before you start your tiling project, make sure that you have enough tiles to complete it. Allow for up to 15% extra in case of breakages or inconsistencies.
Don’t start tiling unless you are 100% happy with your purchase. If you do encounter a problem in the middle of your tiling, stop immediately and call the store that you purchased your tiles from to discuss the best possible solution. Remember, once the tiles have been laid, you are not able to return / exchange them.
